ITC Finding Of Injury In China, Japan Cold-Rolled Steel Case Gives Few Clues On Other Pending Cases

The International Trade Commission on Wednesday (June 22) found that unfairly priced and subsidized cold-rolled steel exports from China and Japan harmed the U.S. steel industry, but the determination gives no real indication on how the commission will vote on a second part of the case involving exports of cold-rolled steel from Brazil, India, Korea, Russia and the United Kingdom, according to industry sources.
