USTR Proceeds To WTO Compliance Panel On China Chicken Duties

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced today (May 27) that it has requested a compliance panel in the World Trade Organization over China's continued trade remedy duties on U.S. broiler chicken products in violation of a 2013 adverse panel ruling. That ruling identified multiple Chinese violations of the Agreement on Antidumping and the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (ASCM) when China imposed duties on U.S. exports.
