Biden signs defense bill requiring China ‘grand strategy’

President Biden on Monday signed into law the fiscal year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, which directs the administration to formulate and submit to Congress a “grand strategy” on China. The House passed the defense spending bill on Dec. 7 and the Senate approved it on Dec. 15.
