BIS working with Wyden on an export control amendment to the NDAA

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security is working with Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) on an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would provide the export control agency with explicit authority to regulate chips that could be accessed remotely, a Commerce official told Inside U.S. Trade .
