Citing call with Xi, Trump announces 'extended' discussions at G20 summit

Saying he had spoken with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Trump said on Tuesday that the two leaders would hold “an extended meeting next week” at the G20 leaders summit in Japan. Trump has repeatedly claimed the two would meet, tying the discussion to his decision on pending tariffs on approximately $300 billion in Chinese goods.
