Citing China, BIS official asks senators for more agency authority, funding

The Bureau of Industry and Security needs more authorities and increased funding to better restrict Chinese access to advanced U.S. technologies, Assistant Commerce Secretary for Export Administration Thea Rozman Kendler told the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on Thursday.
