Citing pandemic concerns, USTR invites input on key products hit by Section 301 tariffs

Aiming to “keep current” in the government's fight to stem the coronavirus pandemic, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is inviting comments on possible modifications to the list of products from China subjected to Section 301 tariffs. In a statement issued late on Friday, USTR said it has “opened a docket for members of the public, businesses, and government agencies to submit comments if they believe further modifications to the 301 tariffs may be necessary.” The process is designed...
