Commerce launches AD investigation into mattresses from China

The Commerce Department on Friday launched an anti-dumping investigation into mattresses from China after nine U.S. manufacturers filed a petition last month. Imports of mattresses from China were valued at approximately $436.5 million in 2017, Commerce said in its announcement . While Commerce investigates whether mattresses from China are being dumped, the International Trade Commission will conduct an investigation into whether the dumping is causing injury to the U.S. industry and its workforce.
