House panel calls on administration to prevent spread of Chinese OS

The leaders of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party want the leaders of the secretaries of State and Commerce, along with the Federal Communications Commission chair, to cooperate with allies in avoiding the use of an open-source operating system they claim could expand China’s digital authoritarianism.
