ITC launches probe into U.S. trade and investment in the Pacific Islands

The U.S. International Trade Commission will examine trade barriers and opportunities between the U.S. and Pacific Island countries in an investigation that will include an evaluation of the regional use of the Generalized System of Preferences, the ITC announced on Friday.
