ITC votes unanimously to continue investigations of Chinese aluminum foil imports

The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled Friday that it will continue investigating imports of aluminum foil from China, which the U.S. industry claims are causing material injury to the domestic industry. The Commission unanimously decided to make “affirmative determinations” in the preliminary phase of antidumping and countervailing duty investigations -- determining there is a “reasonable indication” that a U.S. industry is injured.
