Omnibus package includes language on tech purchases from China

The omnibus fiscal 2017 appropriations measure approved by Congress this week includes a provision requiring U.S. agencies to take extra steps to ensure the cybersecurity of technology products purchased from companies affiliated with the Chinese government.
