Senate Democrats’ spending bill calls for study of tariff impacts on farmers

The Senate Appropriations Committee last week released a proposed fiscal year 2023 spending bill that would call on the Agriculture Department to study how tariffs imposed by the Trump administration affect farmers and ranchers.
