Senate Finance panel to hold hearing on China's 'Belt and Road' initiative

A Senate finance subcommittee will take up China's “Belt and Road” initiative in a hearing next week, the panel announced on Wednesday. The international trade, customs and global competitiveness subcommittee, chaired by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), will hear from two members of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and two analysts on June 12.
