U.S. Steel pushes for sanctions in '337' case; discovery process extended

U.S. Steel Corporation has filed for sanctions against Chinese steel manufacturers in an ongoing Section 337 case, claiming that respondents have refused to produce necessary documentation on a trans-shipment claim sought by the U.S. company in a closely watched case at the U.S. International Trade Commission. Administrative Law Judge Dee Lord has extended the fact discovery deadline on the trans-shipment claim by three weeks in response to motions filed by both parties.
