USDA: FY2022 agriculture export forecast lower, but still a record high

The Agriculture Department has moderated its forecast for U.S. agricultural goods exports in fiscal year 2022 to $175.5 billion -- down $2 billion from its August forecast but still a record high, if realized. Lowered projections for U.S. oilseed exports -- due in part to softening demand in China for soybeans -- drove the downward revision, according to the department’s latest export outlook .
