Tai talks trade with China’s commerce minister

U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai met on Friday with Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, USTR announced. Both are in Bangkok for an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation ministerial. “Ambassador Tai shared the U.S. vision for APEC, they discussed bilateral trade, and also emphasized the importance of maintaining open lines of communication between the United States and the People’s Republic of China,” USTR said in a readout.
