Taiwan Moves Closer To ECFA Referendum That U.S. Sources Think Unlikely

Taiwanese opponents of a proposed trade deal between China and Taiwan are continuing to push for a referendum on a proposed trade agreement known as the Economic Cooperation and Framework Agreement (ECFA) in the hopes to drum up popular opposition to the agreement.
