Ahead of 301 announcement, China again promises to 'fully protect' IP rights, decrease tariffs

As the Trump administration readies a rollout of its Section 301 findings and remedies against Beijing later this week, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Tuesday repeated a longstanding -- and unfulfilled -- promise that his government was taking steps to “fully” protect intellectual property rights and abandon forced technology transfers.
