Industry group: Commerce finds Chinese companies are dumping aluminum sheet

The Commerce Department has found that Chinese producers of common alloy aluminum sheet are exporting products to the U.S. at less than fair value, according to the U.S. Aluminum Association. The Commerce Department outlined preliminary dumping margins of 167.16 percent for a number of Chinese aluminum companies, the association said, adding that Commerce would instruct Customs and Border Protection to require cash deposits based on these rates.
