Senators call on Trump to craft enforcement plan to combat steel overcapacity

A bipartisan group of senators is calling on President Trump to formulate a comprehensive enforcement plan to combat the “global steel crisis,” arguing that “diplomacy” at this week's global steel forum ministerial will not suffice as a solution to overcapacity. Members of the Global Forum on Steel Excess Capacity, which is facilitated by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, will send trade officials to Berlin on Nov. 30 to discuss a report crafted to help governments develop policy solutions...
