USTR grants additional exemptions from Section 301 tariffs

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative this week exempted another slate of products from Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods. USTR granted exclusions for roughly 200 product lines covered by the Trump administration’s first two tranches of tariffs, which covered $50 billion worth of goods, according to notices published in the Federal Register on Wednesday.
