Industry groups urge lawmakers to facilitate a more robust Ex-Im Bank

Citing China's economic practices, industry group leaders this week called on lawmakers to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank and expand its authority. The Ex-Im Bank’s charter is set to expire on Sept. 30. The last time the Ex-Im Bank was up for reauthorization, in 2015, Congress allowed it to stop functioning for more than five months.
