China commission: U.S. should respond to Xinjiang abuses with export controls

The Commerce Department should increase its use of export controls in response to China’s extrajudicial surveillance and mass internment of Uighur Muslims in its Xinjiang province, according to a congressional panel tasked with monitoring human rights and legal developments in China.
