USTR plans to ‘maximize utilization’ of GSP for Pacific Island nations

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative supports the reauthorization of the Generalized System of Preferences and will explore ways of using the trade preference program to benefit Pacific Island nations, including a possible regional association, the agency said on Thursday.
